The Irish Division represents the membership of over 540 psychiatrists of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It represents the professional interests of all psychiatrists. One of its aims is to achieve a greater understanding of mental illness in order to overcome fear and prejudice.
